Hej!
Jag heter Amanda Almvide och arbetar som multidisciplinär konstnär och barnkulturdesigner med platser, upplevelser och objekt.
Platsers identitet, historia och material informerar och driver ofta mitt arbete. Jag ser slutmaterialiseringen som ett kollage av insamlat och bearbetat material, där platsen, deltagare (ofta barn och unga) och jag alla i någon form blir medskapare.
Parallellt med plats- och delaktighetsdrivna projekt arbetar jag i min ateljé med visuellt och materiellt fokus och undersöker färg, textur och komposition. Detta lekfulla experimenterande ger inspiration till uppdrag men även kreativa workshops som jag genomför på olika typer av museum.

Hi,
My name is Amanda Almvide work as a multidisciplinary artist and child culture designer with places, experiences and objects.
The identity, history, and materials of places often inform and drive my work. I view the final materialization as a collage of collected and processed materials, in which the place, the participants (often children and young people), and I all in some way become co-creators.
Parallell with place specific and participatory driven projects, I do visually and play driven work in my studio with focus on exploring material, color, texture, and composition. This provide inspiration to the commissions as well as creative workshops arranged within various museum setting.
